The Orihuela Local Police, who were working the night shift, raided a business in the La Regia section of the coast. They closed the business and took a number of products and drugs. After a comprehensive search, officers found and took away about 6 kilograms of marijuana, 300 grams of hashish, 50 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms, tools used for smoking and packaging, and cash, which was probably money made from illegal activities.
Several people who were at the restaurant during the operation were reported for having illegal and mind-altering drugs. There is also an investigation of the people who run the establishment for a crime against public health.
The local police have reminded everyone that working together is important, therefore they have asked anyone who sees something suspect to report it.

A few days ago, police detained two people on Calle Salvador Dalí in the Flamenca beach district of Orihuela after stopping them for a normal traffic stop and finding 8.8 kilos of a plant that looked like marijuana. They were accused of committing a crime against public health. During the operation, police halted a BMW X6 with German plates that had two males in it.
They found a cardboard box that was sealed and taped up in the trunk. It also had a polyurethane foam concealing system inside, which was probably meant to make it tougher to find the things inside. They also uncovered a fake Bulgarian identity card placed in the phone case of one of the people who had been arrested.
