In Alicante, a 24-year-old man was remanded in detention for shooting his 47-year-old uncle in the neck during a family argument.
During the operation in the Virgen del Carmen neighbourhood of Alicante on Monday, March 23rd, the National Police arrested the victim’s sister, the victim’s mother, and the young man’s father, both of whom are 45 years old.
The three are being charged with attempted murder, illegal possession of weapons, and crimes against public health. The cause of the dispute that resulted in the shooting has not been determined, and one of the three sustained injuries to the uncle’s neck, necessitating emergency surgery.
Additionally, the police confiscated 310 grams of cocaine, five gun magazines, and a variety of ammunition, as well as two handguns.
