The special operation between the Local and National Police also led to a lot of bad behaviour. On another busy Saturday night, April 11th, Dénia had many police cars on the road and officers on the streets. The UPSC Unit of the Denia Local Police and the National Police worked together on a special operation that led to the following results:
Road safety: 2 police reports and 1 administrative violation for driving while drunk; One violation for driving with an expired licence, one for using a mobile phone while driving, and one for having an expired vehicle inspection certificate (ITV).
Drugs: 9 reports of drug seizures.
Establishments: One violation for staying open past closing time.
Public disorder: 4 violations for drinking alcohol in public; 1 violation for urinating in public. Local police also detained a man for breaking a restraining order, which is a big deal.

The Dénia City Council said in a statement that the Local Police “continue working to guarantee safety, public order, and compliance with regulations.”
