The National Police have dismantled a major drug dealing hotspot located in a residence in the centre of Alicante, from which various narcotics, primarily speed and hashish, were distributed. The operation concluded with the arrest of a 64-year-old man for drug trafficking and the seizure of nearly one kilogram of speed, among other items.
The investigation was initiated by agents of the North District Police Station of Alicante after receiving information about a man who was selling narcotics from his home located in the city centre of Alicante. Once the information was analysed and the man in charge of selling the narcotics was identified, various surveillance operations were carried out around the investigated residence in order to gather evidence or clues to arrest the suspect.

Home delivery
Once it was established that the suspect was involved in the sale and distribution of narcotics and that he used his home both to carry out drug transactions and to hide the money obtained illegally, a police operation was set up which led to his arrest.
During the search of the home, officers seized 475 grams of packaged speed, 360 grams of liquid speed, 19 grams of hashish, a bottle of caffeine, a precision scale, a packaging machine, and 2,200 euro in cash.
The detainee, after the police procedures were carried out, was placed at the disposal of the duty court of Alicante. According to the National Police, the police operation carried out has made it possible to eradicate a major drug dealing point located in the city centre of Alicante.
