The Local Police have arrested two individuals with extensive criminal records during a security and preventative surveillance operation deployed over the weekend in the district of La Marina, Elche.
The action forms part of the regular patrols carried out to strengthen security within the rural areas of the municipality. During the intervention, officers recovered various items that had been stolen, including a mobile phone and a digital camera.
The courts have already taken the two detained individuals into their custody. The Local Police have shared the news on their social media networks to remind citizens of the importance of reporting any suspicious behaviour by calling 112 or 092.
