The tourism sector has seen two new names added to the official list of tax defaulters. As confirmed, Bahía Hotel Restaurant and Spa Fuerteventura and Viajes Marbesol have been included on the list published by the Tax Agency on Tuesday, 30th June. This register features taxpayers who held debts exceeding 600,000 euro at the close of 2025.
The entry of these two firms comes at a time when the overall number of tax defaulters has actually decreased. The thirteenth edition of the Spanish Tax Agency’s blacklist contains 5,853 individuals and legal entities, marking a 2.4 per cent reduction compared to the prior year. In total, these defaulters owe 15.432 billion euro in taxes.
Viajes Marbesol makes its debut on the register with a debt of 4.22 million euro, whilst Bahía Hotel Restaurant and Spa Fuerteventura joins with 3.31 million euro.
Alongside the newcomers, around twenty companies associated with tourism, hotels, car rentals and air transport remain on the blacklist this year. The single largest debt belongs to La Torre Polaris Hotel, which owes 21.39 million euro. This is followed by Air Comet with 13.92 million euro, Pullmantur with 12 million euro, Hotel Almería with 9.85 million euro, Rustic Hotels with 9.59 million euro, Ciudad Real Airport with 6.66 million euro and Promociones y Servicios Hoteleros Guadalpín with 6.35 million euro.
The list also features Hoteles Manilva (4.57 million euro), The View Hotel Resort and Gourmet Restaurant (3.31 million euro), Siddharta Hotels and Resorts (3.08 million euro), Hotel SML Actividades Hoteleiras (2.93 million euro), Corporación Hispano Hotelera (2.58 million euro), LTE International Airways (1.93 million euro), Viajes Iberojet Transcontinental (1.71 million euro), 7 Travel Network (1.48 million euro), Muchoviaje (1.21 million euro), Dickmanns Rent a Car (912,249 euro), Canarias New Travel (865,357 euro) and Viajes Silgar (674,176 euro).
