The mobility platform Bolt has signed new agreements with Aena to operate at the Alicante-Elche, Valencia, and Seville airports, strengthening its presence in Spanish terminals. The company already has a presence in Madrid, Barcelona and Malaga.
At Miguel Hernández Airport, the company will have clearly marked pick-up points, providing an alternative transportation option for travellers arriving on the Costa Blanca. In a statement, the platform reminded passengers that reservations must be made between 30 minutes and 90 days in advance.
These new partnerships with Aena allow us to make airport pickups faster, more intuitive and reliable, while extending the expertise we have already developed in Spain and its busiest airports, the company stated.
The new concessions represent a market of approximately 42 million passengers, making them key gateways for both international and domestic tourism. In the case of Alicante, the volume of users is close to exceeding 20 million.
For Bolt, these agreements complement its existing airport operations in Madrid, Barcelona and Malaga, where the platform has seen consistent demand growth. Along with expanding its airport presence, the platform indicates it continues to invest in features specifically designed for airport travel. In fact, earlier this year, the company extended the booking window for scheduled flights from 72 hours to 90 days, aiming to provide greater flexibility for travellers.
