Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández Airport recorded a total of 12,402,145 passengers during the first seven months of the year, spanning from January to July. This represents a 9.6 per cent increase compared to the same period in the previous year.
Regarding flights operated between January and July, the terminal handled 78,259 movements, which is a 9.9 per cent rise in relation to the same period in 2025. In July alone, the airport managed a total of 14,281 operations, marking an 11.3 per cent growth compared to flight operations during the same month last year.
Furthermore, in July, Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández Airport reached 2,341,007 passengers, which represents an 11.1 per cent increase compared to travellers recorded in the same month of the previous year, according to a statement released by airport operator Aena.
The international market, which represents the majority of traffic at the terminal, continued its upward trajectory with an 11.6 per cent increase in July, recording 2,088,344 passengers. Meanwhile, domestic traffic accounted for 251,355 travellers, showing a 7.4 per cent rise compared to the previous year.
Within the international market, the United Kingdom led passenger figures last month with 734,000 travellers, followed by Germany with around 144,000, Poland with nearly 125,000, and Belgium with approximately 119,000.
