The swift intervention of the local police in Calpe during the early hours of 15th August led to the arrest of two individuals just minutes after they allegedly committed a violent robbery at a residential property in the municipality.
According to police sources, the two individuals had gained access to the property. Upon being caught by the owner, a physical struggle ensued, during which the homeowner was assaulted and sustained injuries.
Following an emergency call to 112, officers rushed immediately to the scene, gathered a description of the alleged perpetrators, and launched a search operation. The rapid action made it possible to locate and detain both suspects within a matter of minutes. They were subsequently handed over to the Guardia Civil as alleged perpetrators of violent robbery and causing injuries.
