A mild earthquake measuring 1.3 on the magnitude scale was recorded in Torrevieja during the early hours of this morning, Sunday 23rd August.
The tremor occurred at 02:17, with its epicentre situated in the centre of the Torrevieja lagoon. Although some people in the area felt the shaking, it caused neither personal nor material damage.
