Torrevieja Town Hall is moving forward with the procurement process for 40 new craft market stalls in the port area. The project carries a base tender budget of 1,313,143.88 euro including VAT, with an execution period of five months from the formalisation of the contract and the signing of the start act, without the possibility of an extension.
The Contracting Board excluded Creaciones Parma from the process for failing to rectify required documentation. As a result, technical evaluations are now underway for the proposals submitted by the remaining two bidders: Ovisa-Mistral and Gruexma.
The contract award will be determined primarily by price, which accounts for 85 per cent of the total score, while the remaining 15 per cent corresponds to an extension of the warranty period. Only companies that fulfil the technical requirements and present an economically viable offer will receive final scores according to the criteria established by the local authority before the award proposal is formulated.
According to the tender specifications, the wood used for the cross-laminated panels and auxiliary elements must originate from sustainably managed forests with FSC, PEFC, or equivalent certification. Specific traceability obligations must also be maintained throughout the execution of the contract as the project remains subject to the port concession.
