Catch up on the biggest headlines across Torrevieja and the wider Costa Blanca with Riley Via on this week's news roundup.

We cover Torrevieja celebrating its official distinction as Valencian Cultural Capital 2025, a lucky local lottery player scooping more than €70,000, and Orihuela’s Moros y Cristianos taking over Fifth Avenue in New York.

Plus, we look into regional rental and holiday fraud investigations, record-breaking passenger numbers at Alicante-Elche airport topping 16.8 million, new municipal funding for local cat colonies, and new national telephone rules designed to help you spot nuisance sales calls instantly.

Tune in for all this and more!
