NEW YEARS DAY AT LA ZENIA

New Year’s Day at La Zenia Beach, Orihuela Costa. The beaches were very busy complete with many swimmers and sunbathers.

However with the sea temperature reaching only 16C (60F) most bathers might have been better equipped had they been wearing wet suits. But the bravado of beating the sea on New Years Day is really what it’s all about.

For me….well there’s always next year!
