A Russian Real Estate Developer has submitted a proposal to establish a Commercial-Recreation and Sports area at Torrevieja’s Punta El Salaret
The area under consideration is the plot of land between la Avenida de Alfredo Nobel and the sea, south of the coves located next to Luz Mar and la playa de Los Locos occupying la punta del Salaret, Cala Cornuda and la Cala de los Trabajos. According to the draft plan presented by the developer the area occupies approximately 15,000 sq mtrs however the Councillor for Town Planning, Francisco Moreno, says he is not aware of any such submission.
The design has been drawn up by local architect Carlos Pascual Noguerol who says that the area is one of low and medium rock landscapes value free of and construction which could quickly become one of the most iconic tourist attractions in Torrevieja. It would be an exclusive coastal establishment which would allow visitors the opportunity to get away from the crowded tourist beaches of la Cala de la Higuera and La Zorra
The project would see the development of a commercial area in la avenida de Alfredo Nobel y a la playa de Los Locos. There would be paddle courts, a bowling alley and mini golf while the cliff pool area would feature a ‘tropical’, outdoor spa, cafe, restaurant, gazebo and a ‘chillout zone’.
