Former Hollyoaks and I´m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Her star Gemma Atkinson is soon to arrive in the village of Emmerdale as Bob Hope’s (Tony Audenshaw) estranged daughter, Carly.
After missing out on his presence whilst growing up, Carly thinks her dad has to make up for lost time and life will soon become difficult for Emmerdale favourite Bob. However, with a string of failed relationships behind her, Carly has more in common with her seven-times married father than she’d care to admit. Will she have better success in Emmerdale?
Gemma says: "I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the cast of Emmerdale and I cannot wait to see what’s in store for Carly. I hope you all enjoy watching her story unfold."

Gemma will begin filming this month and will be on screen late March. Gemma is best known for playing Lisa Hunter in Hollyoaks before taking part in the 2007 run of jungle based show I´m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, where she became the 7th eliminated star.
