The organisers of SIMA, the international Spanish property fair, have announced that they will be extending their exhibition space for the 17th exposition which is due to take place from 7th to 10th May in Madrid.
The fair is the biggest in Spain for the property sector and organisers have indicated that due to high levels of demand from exhibitors, they are considering the possibility of booking more space at Madrid’s IFEMA arena.
Fifty stands have been sold so far and SIMA have noted that their clients are requesting 20 per cent more room than in 2014 to show their property portfolios.
Managing director of Planner Exhibitions, Eloy Bohúa, has said that the increase in demand was “without a doubt, good news, and not only for SIMA.”
“The elevated level of requests for space by the exhibitors can only be interpreted in terms of confidence. The market revived in 2014 and everything seems to indicate that 2015 will be the year of consolidation. SIMA is simply anticipating it.”
