Lightning and Strong Winds

According to the Spanish meteorological agency, AEMET, during Sunday´s rain storm across the Valencia region, some 400 cloud to ground lightning strikes were recorded.

Meanwhile, on Monday, as the rain had eased but a warning was in place for high winds, gusts of up to 72 kilometres per hour were recorded in the El Altet area.
