Benidorm town hall has announced the unanimous approval of the creation of an investigatory commission to investigate the impact of all-inclusive holidays on the town´s businesses.

Spokesperson for the PSOE government, Rubén Martínez, said that the plan was to open a “healthy, positive and crucial” debate on Benidorm, which will prevent “damage” to the city and “preserve the tourist model”.

The much awaited La Siesta park in Torrevieja opened on Saturday, with many people attending the event to check out some of the leisure and pleasure facilities now available in this popular area of Torrevieja. The La Siesta park features all kinds of sports pitches, for football, basketball, hockey, and more, as well as the largest paved pump track in the world, according to the town hall. Torrevieja Pump Track Grand Opening
It's been a long time coming, but the La Siesta Skate Park is due to open this week with the inauguration set for Saturday 16 March at 11:00 a.m. The park contains many different facilities for different sports modalities, and there's seating around the entire area.
