Operation Transporter Crex has successfully dismantled an indoor cannabis plantation and a family cocaine distribution point in a residence in Dolores.
The Santa Pola Police Station’s Investigation Unit initiated the investigation in February of last year after receiving anonymous reports that suggested a woman was selling drugs, specifically cocaine, at multiple locations throughout the municipality. She was even employing an industrial park to conduct the transactions, according to these reports.
The primary suspect, a 48-year-old woman, was identified by the officers. Her modus operandi involved commencing her activities immediately after transporting her grandson to school. She would subsequently visit various towns in the province of Alicante to connect with prearranged buyers. These events were verified by surveillance, which revealed numerous drug transactions in Santa Pola, La Marina, Elche, San Isidro, and Crevillente.

Officers also detected a potent marijuana odour emanating from the suspects’ residence in Dolores during the investigation. Additionally, they verified that the residents implemented security protocols, ensuring that an individual was consistently present on the premises to oversee the plantation, narcotics, and equipment.
Property registration
A search warrant was implemented at the residence on February 23rd, following the verification of the criminal acts. Consequently, 330 grams of crack cocaine, an indoor marijuana grow operation with 80 plants in the drying phase, 451 grams of marijuana flowers, 14 grams of hashish, and several doses of cocaine prepared for sale were seized.
Four members of the same family clan, all of whom were inhabitants of Dolores, were apprehended as a consequence of the operation. Their ages ranged from 19 to 48. The individuals are accused of electricity fraud for an illegal connection to the power supply used at the plantation, as well as alleged offences against public health for cultivating and trafficking drugs.
The Civil and Instruction Section of the Court of First Instance of Orihuela was granted custody of the detainees, and it subsequently authorised their release with the provision of precautionary measures until their trial.
