A new set of tobacco prices has officially come into effect today, Saturday 23 May 2026, following the latest publication in the Official State Gazette (BOE). The resolution, issued by the Presidency of the Commissioner for the Tobacco Market on 22nd May, outlines the updated public retail prices for various tobacco products across tobacconists and stamp outlets in the Monopoly area.
The adjustments apply to a range of cigars, cigarillos, pipe tobaccos, and other variants, with specific structures set for the mainland and the Balearic Islands, as well as separate rates for the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla.
Among the updated cigar and cigarillo options available individually or in packs, several premium and international brands feature new pricing structures. For instance, the Corrida Honduras Robusto 5 x 56 pack of 20 is now priced at 9.50 euro per unit. The Davidoff Puro Dominicano range has also seen its rates fixed, with the Corona Larga in packs of 12 or 5 retailing at 18.30 euro per unit, while the Perfecto variant in both pack sizes is set at 19.70 euro per unit. The Short Robusto version from the same brand stands at 15.50 euro per unit.
Other notable additions include El Viejo Continente Edicion Esteli Robusto at 11.80 euro and the Torpedo variant at 12.50 euro. The Nub Maduro 4 x 60 pack of 24 is priced at 10.50 euro per unit. A significant number of variations from Padron have also had their retail prices updated, including the Padron 1926 80th Maduro and Natural packs of 8 at 42.00 euro per unit, the Padron 20 Damaso No. 15 at 20.00 euro, and both the Maduro and Natural 2000 x 26 formats at 11.90 euro per unit. Further variations within the Padron selection range up to 36.00 euro for the Family Res. 45 and 32.70 euro for the No. 9 variants.
Additionally, the Plasencia Reserva Original Robusto is now priced at 12.60 euro, and the highly premium Plasencia Year of the Horse pack of 10 costs 69.00 euro per unit. More accessible individual options include the Tabacalera Zapata Petit Corona at 6.90 euro and the Villa Dominicana Corona at 3.70 euro per unit.
For products sold strictly by the pack or container, the Monte Negro Corsarios and Piratas packs of 10 are now retailing at 2.90 euro per container on the mainland, with an adjusted price of 2.70 euro in Ceuta and Melilla. The Zino Nicaragua Short Puritos pack of 10 is priced at 8.00 euro. Meanwhile, fine-cut rolling tobacco and pipe blends have also seen additions, including Tobacco Farm Virginia 30g at 5.65 euro, the Cannibal Mybro 180g at 15.90 euro, and the 50g variant at 4.50 euro. A broad selection of Darkside base pipe tobacco flavours in 30g packaging, including Monster, Barvy O, Blackery, and Bnpapa, have also entered the market at a uniform rate of 2.00 euro.
