Construction work on the first Bauhaus store in the province of Alicante is advancing at a rapid pace in Torrevieja. The German DIY, home and garden retail chain has accelerated building operations at its site in the municipality, bringing forward its original 2027 schedule with a view towards potentially opening its doors to the public as early as December.
The establishment represents the company’s first branch within the province of Alicante and marks a significant addition to the local commercial landscape. The development has been progressing on its designated plot in the municipality, where contractors are intensifying tasks to ensure the main facilities and surrounding infrastructure reach completion ahead of the festive shopping period.
If current deadlines are met, the Torrevieja development will welcome its first customers before the end of the year, establishing a major retail presence for the brand across both the municipality and the wider surrounding region.
In the same area, both Aldi and Consum supermarket contructions are also accelerating at pace, and could well add to the portfolio of open businesses in the new retail area at a faster timeframe than thought.
