Torrevieja´s councillor for Sports, Víctor Ferrández, along with the President of the Torrevieja Football Club, Manuel Antonio Ballester, and the Schools Coordinator of Valencia Football Club, Toni Navarro, presented the summer soccer school that will take place in the Sports City from the 9th to the 14th of July.
The councillor said that the collaboration on this year´s summer campus is the result of “good work being developed by the Torrevieja Club de Fútbol”, and said that it is a “great opportunity for the children of Torrevieja to learn from the best”, specifically highlighting the future benefits as they “take into account the agreement that the Valencian Club” is “going to receive children at risk of social exclusion” who have been included through the work of the Department of Social Welfare.
Navarro detailed that the campus is aimed at children between 6 and 16 years and will convey the club’s objectives and values “”such as solidarity, companionship or healthy habits, the objectives are sporting but also for personal development with education an integral part through sports, and in this case of soccer.”
The activities will take place throughout the day and there will be 5 technical-tactical training groups, socio-educational activities, nutrition talks, and another related to the responsible use of social networks.
The price will be 320 euro per child and 295 for the students of the Torrevieja School Football Club.
