The Guardia Civil and the Almoradí Local Police have arrested two young males, ages 25 and 31, who are known to police for their criminal history. They are accused of stealing from as many as eight parked cars in the early hours of the morning. On February 21st, all of the car thefts happened in that town.
A resident told the police that they saw two young guys stealing from a parked automobile on a street in Almoradí, which led to the investigation. When the police got to the site, they found the suspected burglars nearby. They recognised them right away and arrested them on the spot. Three plastic bags with things that were thought to have been stolen from cars were located just a few metres away during a search of the area. These things included tools, clothes, electronics, and sunglasses.
The police operation was broadened based on these clues, and they found up to eight cars that had been broken into on different streets in Almoradí. The Guardia Civil said that steps were quickly taken to find and notify the possible victims, and the goods that were found were returned to them in the days that followed.
At the same time, a study of security camera footage showed that the detainees were to blame for all of the occurrences being looked into. The Orihuela Court of First Instance’s Investigating Section has seen the inmates and ordered their release with safety precautions in place until the trial.
Officers from the Almoradí Main Station and the local police force did these things, which were very important in quickly catching the people who were accused. Also, it was important for the public to help, both by sounding the alarm and by giving important pictures that helped make things clearer.
