A family doctor from a medical centre in Benidorm is facing a potential prison sentence of three years and eight months, alongside a six-year disqualification from his profession, after being accused of discovering and revealing secrets.
According to information provided by the High Court of Justice of the Valencian Community, the medical professional allegedly accessed the clinical history of a man without any medical justification or authorisation from the patient. This unauthorised access reportedly occurred on at least ten occasions between 2012 and 2018.
The trial concerning these events is scheduled to take place today, Tuesday, 7th July, in the third section of the Provincial Court of Alicante.
