Torrevieja Civil Protection is in mourning following the death of active volunteer Ana María Nogueiro Arroyo at the age of 70.
The Local Police in the Alicante municipality described her as an example of dedication, solidarity, and a true vocation for service. For more than 25 years, Ana María selflessly dedicated a significant part of her life to helping others and serving the residents of Torrevieja.
In a statement, colleagues recalled that those fortunate enough to share duty with her knew well of her commitment, humanity, and constant readiness to assist wherever needed.
The Department of Security and Emergencies of Torrevieja Town Hall expressed its deepest condolences to her children, Rubén and Bárbara, her grandchildren, Sindy, Rubén, and Mayara, as well as her wider family, friends, and particularly the entire Civil Protection family mourning her loss.
