Mat Ford-Dunn #90

The Supermoto racing brothers from Murcia have had a busy time over the summer period.

Whilst most people are heading for the beaches of Spain for a well deserved vacation during the hottest months of the year the two brothers have been constantly hitting the race tracks of Spain to further prepare themselves for the second half of the season.

With Mat holding a commanding lead in the SM Master 35 class and Anthony only 34 points off the leader in the SM Open class, both brothers know that a Spanish championship title is within grasp and they are determined to be in prime shape for the final championship races of the year that commence on Sunday 7th September at Albaida circuit near Alcoy, Alicante.

They were joined last week by Britain’s Motogp racer, Scott Redding who put in three days training with the Supermotoland team at the Fortuna and Albaida circuits to further improve his Supermoto skills and physical condition before he jets out to America for the next Motogp race.

Training on a Supermoto bike in 40 degrees of heat whilst Battling with the two brothers is pretty much ideal preparation for racing in MotoGP’s and Scott thoroughly enjoyed his experience as well as meeting the many fans that turned up to see him ride.

The testing and training continues over August and the Brothers are hoping that the effort they are putting in now, will pay off in the forth coming races on their Advance Moves International Removals Sponsored Race bikes and a championship title becomes a reality.
